Yeah….pretty much this. Though you are in London where everything is double or even triple the price anywhere else and it is also slightly less shitty weather-wise down there too and it is a city so yeah it is pretty unfriendly. (though people generally aren’t as open here as other places. )

Actually not very dubious, it’s an actual store, except I’m guessing since it was Xmas eve business wasn’t good so the meat or sauces were left for a while.I forgot Digikerot you are here, but I think you’re in Newcastle right?

You’ve picked a really bad time to visit the UK weather wise - it’s not normally quite this bad, even at this time of year. Given that most us Brits are finding it too cold, I can’t imagine how those from out-of-country would react to it.

There’s your problem. The only people over here who actually eat kebabs are people too drunk to know better, and can’t remember from whence they were purchased to allow avoidance at a later date.

stuff are expensive, people aren’t friendly etc.

London? The prices are only marginally better elsewhere in the country, but peoples manner tends to be better. Everyone (thinks they’re) far too busy in London to be polite.
