Below are some news/rumours that I’ve read around Chinese anime sites these few days. I can’t really remember where I read which from so I’ll just leave it unreferenced.

News/Rumours of late:

1. Detective Conan manga will end this year. Rumours say that Dr. Hiroshi Agasa is the mastermind villain behind the criminal organisation that caused Shinichi to turn into a kid. What better way than to keep his test subject closely under watch beside him. Apparently, if you tweak around the doctor’s name, you’ll get a revelation and spoiler of his identity. Oh, and the female agent who took the same drug as Shin will die, or so it seems.

2. Taiwanese TWINS girl group is gone, Singaporean girl group FYG or whatever will take over. Okay, this has nothing to do with otakudom. But seriously though, idol fans are just another form of rabid otakus.

3. School Rumble Season 3 OVA will be bundled with the First Press Edition of the Japanese manga Volume 21 and 22. If I read it correctly.

4. Eureka Seven gets a movie. Done by the same batch of staff that did the TV series and will be directed by whoever did Rahxephon.

5. Rica from JAM Project will disappear for an unknown period of time.

I haven’t been reading the Detective Conan manga, so I’m not sure what’s going on now. If it really ends, I hope it’ll do so with a bang.

Which means Conan is going to be revealed as a bloodthirsty vampire, explaining his eternal youthfulness.

Then Claire from Claymore will chop him up into many pieces, as befitting a smart Yoma.

Looking forward to the Eureka 7 movie. Perhaps they will continue where the anime left off and finish up the loose ends.

Does that mean Haibara will die? T_T

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.
