Figure News: More Kingdom Hearts Playarts and Square Enix Master Arms set

Playarts are like the monsters in FF7′s mythril caves. They never show up alone.  Previously I posted something about Sora being Playartified, and now we have Roxas.

Roxas is set to be one of the most poseable Playarts so far, with an extra joints in each shoulder that adds even greater articulation without sacrificing detail. Unfortunately, the elbow pivot joints are still obvious and ugly but I suppose this problem cannot be solved cost-effectively with current technology.

Roxas has a cool emotionless face and rather detailed hair. Spiky of course. He comes with the keyblade and an ice cream accessory.

The details on his clothes have been thoroughly replicated and looks really good. His shoes especially, look even cooler than my own.

On another issue, Square Enix will be further milking their fans by releasing a Squre Enix Master Arms series of 1:4 to 1:6 scaled weaponry. These are the weapons that were popular in their RPGs, so expect gunblades, Buster swords, Masamunes and the like.  The picture shows FF8′s gunblades, both Seifer and Squall versions. Besides being detailed,  the sheer length is pretty amazing. 25 cm on average. Which may mean you can put them in your action figures hands too.  Price and release date not confirmed.
