She was the much-beloved whom her man was ultimately too powerless to save from the cruel vagaries of Fate, and whose passing sapped the colour out of his very existence. Yet, she was able to partake of the Miracle of Life just before her doom, and the legacy she left behind through this Miracle is what allows her to live on in her progeny, and bring back the colour into the life of the man she loved in life. Now, she watches over her man and her daughter unseen, ever smiling as they go about their new life together. But though she is now their Guardian Angel, has she the power to protect them from Fate’s eternal cruelty?
CLANNAD ~After Story~, Episode 20.

Tonkatsu~!

My Tsundere Sensei Hinano-sama, doujin to be available at C76 this Summer.

"It’s so mean of you to forget all the times we spent in that gym storage shed together…."

Dango Attack!

…dango, daikazoku.
T_T

….oh, goddammit Key/KyoAni. Twist the knife in further, why don’t you? T_T

Wait, hold on just a moment there. Which Furukawa-san are you talking about?! If it’s Sanae-san….run, Ushio!!!

Hmmm, okay, I guess it’s Akki’s bread. That said, I wonder what it tastes like….

Introducing CLANNAD 00’s Twin Moé-Drive System. Trans-GrahAm!!!

Invasion of the Dango!!!

….Oh, goddammit, Key/KyoAni. T_T

Memories of Okazaki Nagisa, the Beloved. Never forget.

It’s also a particularly nice touch that Tomoya is once again working so hard to beat Akio at his own game, this time for the sake of Ushio. I’d dearly love to see Tomoya tell Ushio the story of how he won Nagisa’s hand from Akio back then. ^_^
But……

Oh, no. No no no no……OMG. T_T

A horrible omen of things to come, a sign that the newfound happiness could just be as easily lost as it was so hard to find. It was a return to the CLANNAD of Season 1 for just a short while, but idyllic times don’t last very long, and once again, history with all of its tragedies seem poised to repeat itself. It’s an awful feeling, but we’ll have to face it. Is this happiness about to come to an end, even before it truly began?

Unfortunately, the title of the next episode isn’t particularly optimistic, to say the least. The first great tragedy to befall our ill-fated hero almost knocked him down, and it was only with Nagisa’s legacy that he could stand up again. Should another tragedy before him, will it be for him quite literally The End of the World? Such a fate is too horrible to contemplate….and once again, as After Story has been for the past few weeks, the next episode both could not come too soon, and could not come soon enough, for all of us.
Ascaloth, out.

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.

I don’t mind that Tomoya leaves Ushio alone, but what really worries me is her wandering x.x. While she might have a really good sense of direction, getting lost isn’t the only thing to worry about. Well Tomoya doesn’t really know Ushio is wandering around, and she gets home before he comes back, so I guess I can’t blame Tomoya too much.
On another note, I noticed that the preview has a lot of foreshadowing about certaint things that non game players would miss.
if something happens to ushio … oh god .. not sure if i can take any more T__T
There’s something wrong with the scenes where Ushio wanders the town. Call me crazy, but I’m sure Tomoya locked the door the first time. And both times was already nighttime when she reached the hospital, wich Tomoya would already be back at home.
The only similarity I picked up in both scenes was that she was looking up in both situations, and next thing we see is she outside. Why do I feel like there’s some kind of connection there. Maybe wasn’t her, but some sort of spirit/aparition related to the orbs of light? I can’t make it out quite clearly, but… I felt weird.
Seeing Fuuko with her antiques and odd thought process was amusing in itself.
I too thought that Kyou would be a great stepmother for Ushio, but I feel like Tomoya will end up alone (or dead… if they make the end with Ushio older looking at her parents grave.
I’ve seen fanart of a grown up Ushio as a high school student (yelling at someone who I assume is Tomoya) wearing a dango apron and holding a ladle. While I serious doubt that there is anything like that in the atory..I’d really like to see teenaged Ushio animated. She seems to have picked up some traits from her kindergarten teacher, ehough that might be the part of Tomoya’s personality coming though the Nagisa exterior.
U can delete that right? This thing didnt liad that small text 4 some reason xS well hope they make Ushio’s scene as less painful as it can be buu well nice summary hope Kotomi’s weird idea of different worlds comes to the rescue
“Maybe there’s some merit in the suggestion of Kyou’s shippers that she become Ushio’s stepmother after all, since it’s true that it’ll be hard for a single father to raise his child, even if the financial situation isn’t quite as dire.”
As I posted on the ASuki forums, I think there are pros and cons for Tomoya remarrying Kyou and I even think that the pros outweigh the cons, if slightly. But this isn’t really something one can decide based purely on pros and cons, and the simple fact of the matter is that Tomoya doesn’t love Kyou. So I doubt it’ll happen.
I odn’t get why Okazaki can’t just leave Ushio at the grandparents’ house in the afternoon, considering the latter work from home.
Also, Kyou is hot.
My, hope has always been that Nagisa would be saved at the end of the series, but I also could be happy if she could save Ushio from the fate that had befallen her. After all, Nagisa always said that the life she carried inside of her was more important than her own life.
So, if they chose not to save Nagisa, I could be happy watching Nagisa coming to Tomoya in a dream or in a vision to tell Tomoya that it’s alright to love and be loved again, be happy. I don’t think that if Nagisa stayed dead she would want Tomoya to never know the loving touch of a woman again, and if the roles were reversed I don’t that that Tomoya would want Nagisa to go through life alone.
When it comes to Tomoya’s second choice after Nagisa, I would chose Kyou for him, not Tomoya. It’s all about what they can offer each other as a couple, and I feel that the mature, tempered by age Kyou would be a perfect fit for Tomoya, and Ushio.
hmm .. but i wonder if tomoya will remarrying kyou ??, i am sure tomoya doens’t want it too. because he already love nagisa to much.
About the Kyou part again…
I’m going nuts because of so much rewatching this episodes because I’m coming with one lunatic theory after another. Here’s the last one.
On the episode that Nagisa dies, while in the new years part, when Kyou, Ryou, Kotomi and Sunohara visit the couple, Sunohara made a remark that maybe in some of the other worlds that Kotomi was talking about, he’d be possible dating one of the girls in the room, to what Kyou kicked back saying that with her
definitely wasn’t. About this time she still called him ‘Sunohara’. In the last episode, while talking with Tomoya about the visit that they all would done in the new years, she called him ‘Youhei’.
I know is farfetched and really isn’t much, but calling someone by the first name, generally indicates some level of intimacy, especially if you already call that same person in another way, change out of blue the way you call someone, who you supposedly hadn’t much contact latelly is rather strange.
In this little theory of mine, Kyou and Sunohara are/were dating, or something close to it, wich would be an interesting way of killing the somewhat growing population of ‘Tomoya X Kyou’ people.
What you guys think.
