Amazingly Funny Post Not Written By Me.

Loading ...Now, it’s not often that I link to people. Mainly because I’m lazy and the 2 seconds it takes to link people can be better used pressing refresh on my favourite website riuva.com to see if I have any updates.
But I recently read a post on this new anime blog of which I know nothing about but have come to learn that it is like mine, supposedly funny. I was intrigued by the title, "Why Bleach is a Good Anime", which is like a total ripoff of one of our posts, "Why Naruto is not a Good Anime". I was expecting a parody, or even a satire poking fun at Bleach.
The hilarious thing is, I think the guy’s serious. I quote:
"Bleach has definately been seen as more manlier, more mature compared to its brother Naruto. Bleach and Naruto both have very good points in it’s anime, but while watching Bleach, I have noticed something that most animes do not portray. In most action animes, there is a bad guy, and there is a good guy. The good guy turns supersaiyan and kills the bad guy in this epic glory and battle of sheer ruthlessness. But, in Bleach, I am going out on a limb, it is definately trying to model reality, rather than what we think reality is. We assume this world to be one good side and one bad side."
Nobody can be that dumb right? I’m still thinking this might be a joke or the author is 10 years old. First of all, "it’s" is short for "it is". "Its" is what you should using. Since American schools do not teach grammar before the age of 13, and 95% of American children do not graduate elementary school, this is a big clue. The author, Duke, must be 10 years old. Also, why the fuck is Naruto Bleach’s brother? Did they have the same parents? I’m guessing Dragonball mated with Yuyu Hakusho to give birth to both Naruto and Bleach, in Duke’s warped little mind. He must have imagined Goku having sex with the Yuusuke.
Anyway, apparently in Bleach, the good guys don’t turn super saiyan and kill the bad guys. Wow. They certainly don’t! They just have this fancy thing called BANKAAAAAAAAIIIIII!!!!!!! Also, learn to spell "definitely". And there is no "animes". Bleach also has bad guys you idiot, what the hell is Aizen then? A vase? An angsty 12 year old? Nobody assumes this world to be good and bad, maybe except Bush. And Bleach "models" reality? Really?
The biggest joke is the "more mature" comment. Wow, Bleach spent the past 3 chapters showing nothing but black full ink panels and some idiot with horns saying "I am strong. You sure you want to fight me?" to which the Strawberry replies "I MUST WIN!! PROTECT MY FRIENDZZ!". How mature and thoughtful, these indeed model reality. I recall a situation just today when I had to protect my friends from evil Mexicans, who kept telling me they had lots of guns and were really strong and they even could unleash their secret level 3 form which is like, really powerful and with devil wings, and my Bankai was not good enough to defeat them. Bleach is really realistic. Bankai.
Naruto is far better than Bleach, at least people die in it. In fact, so many people die in it, just like real life, where lots of people die.
So dear Duke continues, "In the United States, most Latinos, Blacks, are seen as low lifes, scums, gansters, the inferior class of America while Whites and Asians are seen as a higher life form." Seriously, I need to migrate to the USA right now because I am a HIGHER LIFE FORM!! I guess Duke hasn’t seen Harold and Kumar.
Another awesome part is when he starts talking about why Asians like him are looked down upon (funny how people look down on HIGHER LIFE FORMS). He says, "Now I don’t mean the current generation of Asian today, but back then some of us have indeed use dog as a form of food. But they don’t realize that just because America is doing so well off compared to other countries. People are starving in some asian countries, they’ll eat whatever that walks, they do not have the luxury to keep animals as pets."
I’m impressed by his classification of eating dog as a sign of poverty. What the fuck, I eat dog everyday and I’m not poor ok? After all, dog-meat is the equivalent of a hamburger! Look at the cute puppy eyes, so rich in vitamin A and collagen! Let me share some food knowledge, as animals get older, their muscles start accumulating a lot more connective tissue, which makes the meat tough and unpalatable. So when we eat dog, we eat only puppies! My favourite dish is stir-fried bull-dog puppy in Kung Pao fortune cookie sauce.
Anyway, I suspect Duke here is on a wind-up. No one is that retarded right? And if he really was, he would be on 4chan and not on an anime blog, certainly not a team blog. Guys, go read that post and decide for yourself if he’s real or faking it, like how I write fake Moeman diaries.

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.

Heh, I think you might have taken a lot of quotes out of context.
Bleach is definitely a shonen manga, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be good.
Sadly, I don’t think the guy is trolling. Just look at his other posts.
The huge leaps in logic and massive assumptions truly made it hard to read. The grammar and spelling didn’t help his argument either.
1. Excellent original joke.
2. Periods go inside the quotation marks. Do they not teach grammar where you’re from?
3. Commas can’t be used to separate two independent clauses. Clearly you’re ten years old.
4. Interpreting a metaphor literally—brilliant comedic material.
5. “Dog meat,” like most compound nouns, isn’t hyphenated. You must be retarded.
Try working on your material instead of trashing new writers.
Writing a post about how good anime Bleach is and making a leap to racial inequality and poverty? Guess I’ve seen everything now.
I stumbled upon that blog post this morning. There was no real insight, structure, grammar…my head still hurts. >.

Hahaha awesome post. Same goes for the diary entries you did. XD I thought I would sum it up in this comment or perhaps you would prefer me to comment on those too?
But you have to understand that you can ridicule these people all you want but it wouldn’t work. It is NOT because they have lower brain faculties but rather because most people in general like Shounen-Jumpish kind of anime where you “protect your friends”. So since it is cool to like this kind of anime, most people will like this kind of anime and denounce other more innovative ones.
In other words, taste will always be distorted as long as society exists. But since society should always exist, taste will ALWAYS be distorted. This is the sad reality of life and if you try to convert someone, you’re actually fighting against an entire societal mesh of social controls, which isn’t an easy battle to win. Well thought out reason wouldn’t work against most people because they don’t really use reason in the first place. They use arbitrary feelings, which are arbitrary and distorted at best.
And btw, Rideback is really awesome. But I know that even if I make the effort to burn a DVD of Rideback episodes for a few of my engine friends, they will still think Naruto and Bleach is better simply because not many people talk about Rideback. But when a new chapter of Naruto/Bleach appears on one manga, you’ll see most people in the lecture theatre reading it to show they are part of the “cool” gang instead of listening to the lecturer. D:

I actually liked Rideback but recent episodes have not been cool. To be honest, I quite like the recent chapters of Naruto as well, I think it’s good entertainment, but it’s not exactly the most meaningful thing around, unlike what Duke here jokingly suggests.
Shounen is still the genre of manga I buy most.

well it is quite fun to read to be honest. everyone has to start somewhere.
His ability to draw links when none exist at all, spread utter crap over 500 words, and make it sound cool and dignified while he’s at it will serve him in good stead should he decide to pursue the path of a politician. Or a lit teacher.
I commend your critical analytic efforts via anime, and while a shit load of people are laughing at you merely on the basis that it’s Bleach you’re talking about, they’re the dumb ones
