We’ve just booked our plane tickets for Daicon. Yeah, we’re so good we take airplanes to anime conventions! Or rather, for some reason, a plane ticket costs less than a coach ride there, and 5 hours less time. I’m not sure how the media pass looks like or if it has our names on it, but if you see me, do say hi and introduce yourselves.

Strangely enough, the Daicon dates clash with the local cosplay festival, Cosfest, and according to everybody, the cosfest people did it on purpose since the Daicon people had already set up the dates long before them. I’m sure it’s an e-penis thing. Cosfest has been steadily going downhill over the years so I’ll happily pass and head over to Malaysia instead.

In other news, I am finalising my stocklist for a Riuva Figure Bazaar 2009, which is my biggest to date. But sadly, I noticed that a few of my figures have deteriorated over time, or because somebody damaged them with clumsy hands (either me or the cleaning lady). Like Saber Zero lost her ahoge due to cleaning lady’s harsh wipes, Genshiken’s Saki’s chair got damaged when I tried to set it up just now (the plastics were weak already) and a few parts of various figures, mainly the stupid option parts, were missing. Fuck, I really hate optional parts. Claymore’s Clare has a whole extra arm missing. But that pales in comparison to the ultimate loss - Swimsuit Nagato Yuki. Those who follow me on twitter, which I rarely use anyway, would have seen my most recent update on this. Basically, I lost Nagato Yuki after shooting her figure review photos at the swimming pool downstairs. What happened was, I was taking photos of her when I saw a large-breasted caucasian hottie, and I asked if I could photograph her, to which she agreed. After that, I completely forgot about Yuki and went home. I never published the review because I thought the pictures were crap, as I had just gotten my DSLR then. This was almost a year ago. Or in fact, more than a year ago.

I’m still not hundred percent sure I left her at the pool though. She could be somewhere in my room, but that is highly unlikely since I searched the whole place and transferred all my figures to the living room, forming a giant mountain. What a shame, could’ve sold her for some money. SHIT. Now I have an empty box of Yuki.

That said, I’ll be putting up about 60-70 figures up for sale, since I’m moving house and don’t feel like carting all that to a rented temporary home. I’m almost done with the powerpoint slides, which feature pictures of them and information. Stay tuned.

Malaysians don’t know that Daicon can be read as ‘daikon’ –> white radish –> Japanese slang term for ‘penis’.

Go to Daicon and show them who’s the master of three penises.

Feel a little bit sad that can’t join the Daicon. The festival is organized by one of my friend’s college’s EMINA (Read it backward) club.

Been hear of the event at the start of this year and feel like going too. But now in Japan already. ^^

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.
