   YAY! I am again pleasantly surprised at Eureka 7. The same thing happened with Naruto. My vicious hate for the fans of the show sort of blinded me with rage to how decent a show it was. I stopped watching it at 144, but it was good up to that point, so yeah. I am just getting started with Eureka seveN and there are some things that irk me about it, but over all I am having a good time watching it.

   This will be a good ending to loop until I get done doing news updates. LAWL.

   To me, Naruto anime ended at ep 45, came alive at ep 101 and died after that never to be revived.

   Thanks to Himitsu Kichi I love anime music again. The last anime music that I really loved was from Love Hina and Ghost in the shell S.A.C. and I thought nothing better will come out. But thank god I was wrong. So thank you Eureka 7 ^^

   Er no. Days is a horrible song. It’s the worst out of the 4 OPs.

   I already did the lyrics translation of the 3rd OP, which is the best. As for the 2nd, Shounen Heart, that’s a possibility.

   IDK. I’m in love w/the song Days. I think it’s a bit wrong to say that Days is a “Horrible” song. Sure it isn’t as good as others, but nonetheless it was better than the 3rd. The 3rd seems to be a little too fast for the show and less emotional than Days. A lot of people believe that it just needs to be a good song, but the Japanese highly believe that music shouldn’t only sound good while watching the show, but should also click in the audience’s mind when watching the show. But who cares…it’s just our opinions.

   Music is the most (besides religon haha) subjective thing out there. There was one scene where Taiyou no Mannaka e was played as an insert song and it fit completely. Totally touching scene. I can’t remember which though.

    I like this show but I love the ending song! If you had a way for Eureka 7 loves to hear the song on your site, I think it would be a great hit! Just seeing the words and hearing them are two totally different ways of seeing the song~. ^_^

    The 4th Opening is the best for me. It’s called Sakura and sung by NIGIRLIS and is an amazing pop song with an operah-like choir voice in between wich give it a great feel.Even the version without vocals is still a spectacular rush.

    I definetly love that song, is just so lovely!!!!!
    Believe me, you should try “Inko”, of the same singer, takada kozue, is another beautiful song, similar style.

    just to say, Naruto, actually ended when naruto and sasuke last fought, the rest are just fillers. If you’re really into it you can tell it isnt masashi whos writing it. but there about to end soon. oh yeah Eureka 7s first ending is BIG but I wish there was a longer version.

    I was just wondering if anyone knew the name of the song in eureka thats in the first episode in eureka 7 it starts the second we are introduced to renton for the first time. It also plays when we see him ref for the first time and theres a school of skyflish flying by him. Its heavy on the guitar and ive been trying to find it for like forever.     Seriously that song has made me want to learn Japanese just so I can understand it.

    On the subject of the series ending at episode 50. I firmly believe that this is what the writers wanted from the start. If you constantly have a continuation to a series, it no longers becomes an epic, but just like any other show out there, bogged down in its own monotony. Where they left it off is about as perfect a place as I could think of ending it. To take it any further would risk ruining the story and/or pulling off the most heinous anti-climax possible (ala Full Metal Alchemist…. worst ending, ever).

    i immensely appreciate all the niji translations that have been posted here. it’s probably the only place on the web with such variety. none of it really makes perfect sense, but that’s probably because the song was originally made by denki groove in 1994 and the producer didn’t take the time to translate it. so it’s basically lost. but it will be uncovered!!! my japanese isn’t very good as i just started studying the language a couple years ago.

    wthww’s version seems most likely to be what they are singing. ‘light’, ‘heaven’, ‘opened’, ’shining’… all are words to describe the delicate floaty feeling you get when listening to the song. it describes a rainbow and and a new hope, which is the theme we are left with at the end of episode 50. i’ve watched the episode so many times and embraced the beauty of the music and story. it’s just one of the great things that never fails to make me happy. that’s probably why i love ‘niji’ so much, because it was intelligently made, and not to sound cheesy, but also heals the mind, soul, and body.

    First off, I guarantee none of this as being what the translation is supposed to be. But this is what I have come up with. I’ve only translated what I can hear in the version I have, which was

    Like I said, I’m not 100% on some of the parts, and I took a little creative license where the words could have become garbled with a literal translation. But This is the general idea behind the song.

    Hi guys. Thanks so much for translations. Eureka 7 rocks! Uhm, does anyone know if there will be an OVA to the series? Some say there isn’t going to be one. Some say there is. Anyways, can anyone translate the song called “Sakura” by Nirgilis? It’s the 4th opening song to the series. Thanks for the help. I am currently learning Japanese by reading books because someday, I would like to return the favor of translating for everyone else…

    I’ve heard a lot of guesses and maybes about an OVA coming out regarding the aftermath of the series. A lot of people seem to want this to happen. Frankly, I do not.

    If you think about it, the ending we received on episode 50 was one of the best endings you could have possibly hoped for out of anything possible. Eureka and Renton are both together and are furthering the advancement of Earth. Axel said that he knew they were coming back, and that’s enough for me. Personally I’d rather let my imagination show me what I think happens afterwards.

    What I do not need to see is the one of two ways this could go.

    The OVA will either have some sort of rushed emergence of some new main obstacle that Renton and Eureka need to overcome in order to continue their mission. And rush-job plotlines would not fit into this series at all, seeing as it could take an hour and a half’s (3-4 episodes) worth of viewing just for some of our main plots in the series to come around. It would destroy the atmosphere that they spent 50 episodes building up after they’ve already climaxed the series in a very acceptable way.

    Or, the OVA will bring about some soert of catastrophic emergence of a major new obstacle far down the road (I’ve heard theories that Dewey’s kids kill Jeurgens and try to continue Dewey’s master-plan like 10 years down the line), causing a lead-in to a new series, which again I would find most unacceptable. Almost everything that needed to be concluded in the series was done so before or on episode 50, the atmosphere was wrapped up and Eureka and Renton emerged as heroes from the chaos. We don’t need to anti-climax the series by pulling a “Dragonball Z/Inuyasha/oh this time I have a more powerful attack/barrier/oneupmanship” piece of crap. And we don’t need to go the route of Full Metal Alchemist, which not only failed to end the series satisfactorily on the final episode, but also managed to release a new movie that ended the series once again… almost as badly as the final episode.

    There is only one route that I could see as being an acceptable “conclusion” to the series (If you can’t already tell, I want it done, each new idea/episode/movie will risk them screwing it up badly. This OVA would involve it being a few years down the road, and the present-tense of it would focus around Talho and her kid. She’d eb talking to the kid about how they came to be where they are. And it would basically be a flashback sequence, perhaps with new things added from the original story-line . Maybe they’d show exactly how Eureka was smuggled away from the miltary, how they got the Nirvash (yes I’ve played New Wave, they might be able to pull something out of there). Maybe add some new adventures that everyone experienced. Recap the end. and after all that, leave the viewer wondering “ok, so did Eureka and Renton ever come back?”. Then you hit them with a final sequence perhaps in Bell Forest, or maybe on their own Skyship (which could look a lot like the Swan as a tribute to Charles and Ray), you’d see more grown-up versions of Maeter Maurice and Link coming back from perhaps a reffing trip or maybe they have their own LFO’s now, and they come onto the bridge of the ship or something like that. and there, we get to see the family united; the 3 kids, Eureka and Renton, and you’d even get to see them grown-up, hoping that they’d be able to pull that off acceptably. I don’t want the concepts of their characters ruined.

    Anyways, whatever the case may be (whether there will be a movie/ova or not), I’m still hoping that there will be one. The only reason I want to watch the E7 movie/OVA is that I want to know what happens to the couples; Eureka and Renton; Anemone and Dominic; Holland and Talho; and possibly Moondoggie and Gidget. Yet more specifically, I want to see if either Eureka and Renton or Dominic and Anemone will have kids. This is because I’ve seen a picture of what appears to be a girl with Eureka’s hair color and a Coralian himan that has Eureka’s wings. Also, take note that that the Nirvash’s last words to Renton and Eureka was telling them to further evolve by uniting. Nobody really knows what the Nirvash means by uniting. If it’s just me, I would say that uniting means go and have children. I mean, there’s no other way I can think of. If by uniting simply means being together, haven’t Eureka and Renton done (and still doing) that already?

    Hi! I was wondering if anyone had romanji lyrics for Takada Kozue’s “Inko?” It was on the Himitsu Kichi single. I’ve been looking everywhere and I can’t find it. I was actually thinking about learning to play it (at least one guitar part since I think it’s a duet.) If anyone has it translated, that would be awesome, too! I’d love to know exactly what it is I’ll be singing
    By the way, nice job translating Himitsu Kichi. I love that song, and now that I know it actually does fit in with the story of Eureka 7 (sort of) it’s even better. Thanks!
