   I like fate a lot, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the facial expression she is sporting in this figure. It’s looking a bit lifeless to me. And you’re right about the sword. That thing will be a scythe by November.

   On the other hand, look at that HOT, HOT ASS.

   I’m really a bit apprehensive about this one. 5,800 yen is a high price. And most of all, I’m concerned with how GSC and friends are raising the average price of their figurines.

   It’s Economics. Demand curve shifts up due to expanding consumer base. The price increses as a result. Shit I hate Econs. Engineering FTW.

   I do know why it’s increasing but I’m saying I do not like it.

   But if I was the CEO of GSC, I’ll probably raise my prices too. After all, this period of time is a peak for Otaku expenditure and all their goods sell out like World Cup tickets.

   Now we’ll see how the other firms respond. The industry seems to be maturing, with stark differentiation by the various companies starting to kick in. GSC gang seems to be targetting the middle to high range of consumers who aren’t afraid to fork out for quality.

    Screw the prices. I’m afraid of the sword bending down as well, maybe they’ll provide a stand for it or something. Lol.

    Actually, compositionally the figurine is badly done. Not only is the sword sticking out too much like Tsubaki pointed out, it’s not goldenratioable unless you count her cape (which you should). But more importantly, it’s difficult to lay out a figurine that takes up so much space to the left. I hope you can somehow magically bend her arms (until they snap) such that she puts Zanbar form behind her a la Strife style or something.

    Speaking of the ever rising prices, GSC announced that SD Saber today too, and that thing is small and still runs 4,000 yen. Although, Max announced the more modestly prices Elwin figure at 4,800. If it’s under 5,000 yen for a 1/8 scale, I won’t complain.

    Also, I called you a bastard on my site. Haha. That’s the good stuff.

    The more I think about it, the more I think GSC won’t be that stupid to produce a figurine that has such an obvious possible-warpage point and still not reinforce it. They’ll have some trick up their sleeve to keep the sword up.

    At least, that’s what I hope.

    A preview of the GSC 1/8 Nanoha. Think this GSC Fate’s suppose to go along with that.

    Much better looking than that Movic Limited Edition BTW.

Do not use any < and > for your own sake. It will end the comment there and then. Also, there is an automatic IQ filter which weeds out comments made by those who accidentally got transported from the stone age.
