Figurine News: Solty Revant 1/8 PVC Out in April

Solty from the GONZO/AIC anime, Solty Rei, will be released as a 1/8 scale PVC figurine in April by GDH. To be honest, I have not heard of GDH (Gonzo Digimation Holdings) as a maker of figurines before. Judging from the pictures of the sample, I am not expecting much.
I will have to watch the 10+ episodes of Solty Rei on my backlog, before I decide whether to pre-order this one. The pose does not reflect her personality. It just seems so docile. I’ll rather have her in a punching pose or something. Her costume isn’t exactly pretty either. The hairstyle’s cute in a deformed way, so that’s one of the outstanding points.
I’ll much rather have the transforming police girls as figurines, or Rose on her bike.

I just picked up one of these figures for 2980 yen at Softmap 2 in Osaka. The paint is a matte finish and is decent quality. I look through about three different ones before I found one of good quality. The biggest issue I noticed was seperation of the joints. The box is very nice for displaying the figure as well.
