Tsubaki says it all, for this review. Asuka of Neon Genesis Evangelion, that’s a character I remembered for two major scenes - the first was when she first moved into the apartment and slammed the door shut, giving us a good glimpse of some powerful jiggly cleavage while the second was in the movie, where she was sprayed on by Shinji juice.

In other words, Rei rocks. But with Urban Attic giving the opportunity to play with this figure, why would I say no? This 24 cm 1/7 PVC figurine has not been seen around here for sure, because it’s a mail order only figure from Dengeki Magazine. I checked the price on Yahoo Auctions Japan and it was about 15000 yen or so. Such is the problem with LE figures, their insane price, high demand and low supply makes it hard for us overseas to even get a whiff of it.

Urban Attic has a final piece going for 199 bucks. w00t.

I like and dislike several aspects of this figure. Let’s go with the negatives first.

She is Asuka. Asuka’s a bitch.

Her skirt is a bit thick.

There are a bit of seamlines.

The clothes aren’t flashy enough, I’m a fan of grand designs after all.

For the positives, I have:

Her hair rocks. One thing Asuka has over Rei is that her hair has a lot more length and volume, so you can do more things with it.

Asuka’s figure is impossibly perfect. Women are never this great.

Her shoulders are very sexy. We all know the various sexy parts of the anatomy, like the collarbone, shoulder blade, deltoids and gluteus maximus and Asuka exposes them all.

She has nice tits.

A Luffy cosplayer.

And the biggest positive? She’s practically one of a kind here, thanks to the rarity.
