Undercover Riuva Researches on Local High Schools (VIDEOS INCLUDED)

Loading ...In almost 67 percent of all anime episodes, a high school is the setting. How real are these and will our local readers be able to relate to them? Is the Singaporean high school experience any different from Suzyumiya Haruhi’s? To find out, Riuva sends its very own investigative reporter deep into the heart of the local equivalent of a high school.
As no press permit was issued, the reporter first had to disguise himself well enough so he could fool the menacing security guards and other students to avoid alerting them. Our hero headed off into the uncharted waters of school, clad in the colours of the subjects.
A great disguise.

Preliminary observations showed that the stereotype of 17-18 year old girls being all hot and pretty is obviously a fat lie. And there aren’t any sailor suits around too, just some ugly green pleated skirts. It’s the start of the school year which means the fresh meat is going through their orientation programme of team-building fun and games. Seeing these kids have fun made the ancient journalist feel very nostalgic. School rocks. Really.
But our reporter, on the verge of throwing in the towel after failing to secure any Nagato Yuki lookalikes, spotted something 1000% SPARKING! A celebrity!
That’s right, in local schools, we have CELEBRITIES TOO! Hidden in the dense web, crouching as he completed his mission was a certain PREMIER ANIME BLOGGER. What a coincidence! And he bears the mark of the Gryphon…Paparazzi mode initiated!
He’s doing the Yuki version of the Haruhi dance.

The team secretly took these two videos of the celebrity in action, outside his closed space domain of Cyberspace. COULD HE APPLY HIS ANIME BLOGGING SKILLS IN THE REAL WORLD?
Check out the vids. The first is titled, "DMCHEER" and the second, "DMBOWL".
Truth: In DMBowl, it looks like he missed completely. But it’s just a camera trick. He actually scored a strike. NOW THAT IS ANIME BLOGGING SKILL. He learnt that from his many flame wars with Doremi, to strike his foes out with power and precision, even when a coconut’s the only weapon. Don’t mess with these anime bloggers, they rule.
Tragically, the reporter had to concede failure as his primary objective of photographing Anna in a classroom setting was not achieved. They were all locked or occupied.
