Well, I do understand that Comiket 73 is already over but the aura of Japanese conventions last far longer than local ones. Expect to see many more C73 releases on Tokyotosho for days to come but forget about local releases since the only release I saw was the local Superscenic.

I didn’t really have time to take photos of the doujin events as I was busy queueing up for an excellent Chronolog X Fururi collaboration C73 character bag set, more coverage on doujin stuff after I return to Singapore.

No pictures of queues? I went over to the cosplay forum to take a few good pictures of hot cosplayers. The only problem with Day 2 was that, it was extremely windy. My Chronolog bag sets were flying around in the wind and I had to walk at a 45 degree angle to overcome the incoming flow of air. Under such circumstances, the cool cosplayers had a really hard time trying to open their eyes or press on their hair.

I saw this Gintama couple of female cosplayers at the entrance and followed them all the way to the forum just so that I can ask for a picture. I guess it was well worth the effort as that is one of the hottest Kagura I’ve seen around.

Ignis in wedding dress would have been perfect if not for the sudden gust of wind which caused her to shut her eyes.

Tohsaka Rin cosplayer with her luggage full of clothes or something. All the cosplayers dragged a luggage around with them to store their stuff.

This was the best Gintoki cosplay I saw at the event. I really wanted to ask her to scratch her head or something but my Japanese failed me upon witnessing her awesomeness.

This guy was dressed up as the Animate Tenchou mascot character that everyone who watched Lucky Star would know and he was advertising the new Hahiru pr0n. This has got to be one of the best blatant advertising ever.

Poor Master Chief was stoning, so I asked for a picture.

Kusakabe Yuuki from To Heart 2 XR I think? This cosplayer was really beautiful in person.

An all-male Little Busters! cosplay group. The DC2 Minatsu cosplayer was really unwilling to join the shoot as he kept emphasizing that he’s from another series. I told him it’s perfectly okay but he just constantly went “Zen zen chigaujan!” which really amused me.

Tenkou Kuugen from Wagaya no Oinari-sama novels which just got a green light for anime. The manga sucked but the novels rocked.

This freakin’ Guren Lagann was at least 2 metres tall. The guy seemed to be on stilts of some sort and hid his face behind a black veil which turns out to be the neck. I requested for a Kamehameha pose and he obliged pretty quickly.

Pikachu was never that hot, and she looked ten times hotter in person. No kidding.

Setsuna the Arabian Japanese.

This DGrayman cosplay group looked 5 times better in person and the untimely wind caused one of them to shut her eyes. Rabi’s miniature hammer was kind of cute in a way.

I’m about to check out of the hostel soon so I guess this shall be my post till I return. Check back soon for a post on Day 3 of Comiket, which was totally fun and disappointing at the same time. I highly believe that I am the only person in Singapore to own a Ito Noizi X Nanao bag set as it sold out really quick. I used the bag as a normal shopping bag. Heh. No worries to all who want it though, you’ll easily find it in second-hand stores going for 4 times its original price of 3500 yen.
